Brian J. Chappelle is a founding partner of Potomac Partners – a Washington-based consulting firm specializing in mortgage finance industry representation.

Mr. Chappelle has held positions at the Mortgage Bankers Association of America as Senior Staff Vice President, Corporate Relations & Membership and Staff Vice President, Residential Finance/Government Agency Relations department. During his 13-year tenure at MBA, Mr. Chappelle managed the Association’s loan origination and servicing functions; represented MBA in dealing with the appropriate Federal agencies on matters related to FHA, VA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and testified before both Houses of Congress on behalf of the Association.

Prior to joining MBA, Mr. Chappelle was Director of Single Family Development Division for the Federal Housing Administration where he administered FHA’s loan production activities including product development and underwriting requirements and had primary responsibility for the implementation of FHA’s Direct Endorsement and Adjustable Rate Mortgage Programs.

John Anderson is the owner/broker of Twin Oaks Realty, Inc. a family-owned, independent real estate company established in 1961. Mr. Anderson has extensive experience in FHA and VA products. He holds GRI, ABR, CRB, and CRS designations. Mr. Anderson is a member of the Federal Housing Policy Committee for 2008 and has previously served as its Chair and Vice Chair. Mr. Anderson previously chaired the Regulatory Issues Forum. Twin Oaks is a long time member of the National, Minnesota and Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors

Stephanie Renner is an Associate Attorney in the Lexington office of Stites & Harbison PLLC. She is a member of the Business Litigation Service Group. Ms. Renner’s primary practice is financial institutions litigation, particularly representing residential lenders in a variety of actions. Her experience includes defense of consumer protection actions, investigation of loan fraud schemes and defending against allegations of non-compliance with state and federal mortgage lending laws and regulations.

Jennifer P. Stephens is an Associate Attorney in the Louisville office of Stites & Harbison PLLC. She is a member of the Business Litigation Service Group. Ms. Stephens concentrates on real estate litigation and title insurance defense, and she is a Vice-Chair of the ABA Title Insurance Litigation Committee and an editor for the ABA Real Estate Litigation Committee. Her work involves issues of loan fraud, priority disputes in foreclosure actions, bankruptcy and other aspects of real estate litigation.

Christy A. Ames is currently of Counsel at Stites & Harbison PLLC. Her practice includes general litigation with a focus on residential mortgage litigation. In addition, Ms. Ames advises clients on issues that pertain to mortgage lenders, brokers, and other financial institutions, including compliance with federal and state laws relating to mortgage lending and brokering, licensing, do-not call issues, disclosures, the Fair Labor Standards Act as it applies to the mortgage banking industry and privacy.
