About the Author
Judith E. Kramers, Esq., is currently counsel to Fortney & Scott LLC in Washington, DC. She has 25 years of experience with the U.S. Department of Labor. She served as Deputy Solicitor for Planning and Coordination for 16 years, advising the Solicitor of Labor and other Labor Department officials on matters such as wage and hour laws, civil rights and affirmative action, and on other areas concerning safety and health. Ms. Kramer also has served as acting Solicitor of Labor, and as a trial and appellate attorney in the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division.
